Star Roofing Service Superintendent Location: Phoenix, AZ Pay: Competitive salary based on experience and demonstrated leadership ability Employment Type: Full-Time | Service Department | Superintendent Role About the Role Star Roofing is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Superintendent to oversee and lead our commercial roofing service operations.

This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple service crews, coordinating daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive commercial roofing knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage people, projects, and profitability in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the commercial roofing service departmentManage and support multiple service crews to ensure safety, productivity, and quality performanceDiagnose complex roofing issues and provide technical guidance to field personnelCoordinate scheduling, manpower allocation, materials, and equipment resourcesEnsure all work is completed according to company standards and manufacturer specificationsMaintain a proven "Safety First" culture and enforce all company safety policies and proceduresTrain, mentor, and develop Foremen and Service TechniciansMonitor job profitability, labor efficiency, and departmental performance metricsConduct field inspections and quality control auditsReview and approve digital work orders, service reports, and documentationTake ownership of customer satisfaction through professional communication and issue resolutionPartner with estimating, operations, and sales teams to support service growthManage conflict resolution and employee performance concerns professionallyDemonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Qualifications 5+ years of commercial roofing service experienceMinimum 3+ years of leadership experience managing roofing crews or service operationsStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems including: BURTPOPVCEPDMSpray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)Metal RoofingRoof Coatings Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsExperience utilizing mobile technology and software for field documentation and reportingAbility to read plans, specifications, and manufacturer detailsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredOSHA certifications and roofing manufacturer certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation packageAuto Allowance or company vehicle and fuel cardHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysCareer advancement opportunities within a growing organizationProfessional development and leadership training Join Star Roofing and help lead one of the premier commercial roofing service teams in Arizona.
