JOB SUMMARY As an Area Supervisor, you will coordinate and oversee operations within your assigned territory, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely service to Clintar Commercial Outdoor customers.
This role is responsible for leading daily operations, training and supervising staff, planning and coordinating work schedules, monitoring productivity, and supporting the achievement of operational goals.
Responsibilities include conducting regular site visits for quality control, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety standards, managing equipment and resources effectively, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The Area Supervisor works closely with staff, clients, and management to maximize operational efficiency while maintaining Clintar's commitment to exceptional customer service and property standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Coordinate and supervise day-to-day field operations year-round.Help prepare, assist and monitor budgets for maintenance, construction, and snow.Direct all daily activities of supervisors, landscape maintenance crews and all winter staff.Responsible for short-term planning (day-to-day) and keeping management aware of decisions being made.Assist with estimating and planning for all manpower and equipment needs and provide information for production plans to meet production objectives by reviewing records, customer orders, and weather forecasts to determine required activities.Complete all necessary reports, records and cost tracking.Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to vehicles/equipment.Identify and report equipment deficiencies, safety concerns, property damage, and other operational issues to management in a timely manner.Able to perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily.Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the crew.Assist in the orientation and training of staff.Assign duties, coordinate and oversee assignments, special projects, and maintenance functions (i.e., planting, fertilizing, pest/weed control, landscaping, snow removal, salting etc.)Assist in monitoring and evaluating employees performance, to detect inefficient or unsafe work procedures or problems, initiating corrective action as necessary.Maintain a safe, clean, and legally compliant workplace that adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Identify, investigate, correct and document potential environmental and safety problems.Ensure diplomacy concerning customer service-related issues.
