We are looking for talented Marine Mechanics to maintain and repair all types of boat and marine engines and systems.

We are a fast growing and large Mercury/MerCrusier outboard, sterndrive and inboard Service Center, as well as a Suzuki outboard dealer, located in North Kingstown RI.

You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of our customers boats, engines and mechanical systems.

An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail.

They must be able to work with specific marine equipment and tools as well as follow all safety precautions and management instructions.

Responsibilities Diagnosis and repair boat engines, systems or mechanical components according to requirementsInspect outboards, inboards and sterndrive engines and, transmissions etc.

and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issuesConduct repairs aiming for maximum reliabilityTroubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely mannerPerform thorough maintenance on customer as well as yard owned machinery, equipment and systemsClean and apply lubricants to machinery componentsReplenish fluids and components of engines and machineryProvide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to management and vessel usersUndertake other marine and boat related duties as assignedKeep logs of work and report on issues Skills Proven experience as Mercury or Suzuki Certified Marine Mechanic.

Entry level and/or non-certified marine mechanics are also considered.

We will provide training.Excellent knowledge of marine engines, electrical and other systems and their componentsAptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g.

calipers)Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelinesVery good communication skillsA problem-solving abilityHigh school diploma is...
