Key Responsibilities



* Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including the use of ladders to access elevated platforms and landings.



* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and servicing-welding experience is a plus.



* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues on conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, gearboxes, air compressor systems, water systems, and more.



* Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as Bobcats, skid steers, loaders, and man lifts.



* Communicate effectively with co-workers, including maintaining constant eye contact and using hand signals when working in close proximity or backing up equipment.



* Strictly adhere to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.



* Follow directions from the Foreman regarding daily tasks and project-specific expectations.



* Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections on equipment, accurately documenting findings in compliance with company policies.



* Assist in training and mentoring less-experienced team members on equipment operation, servicing, and repair.



* Take on additional duties as assigned to support team and company goals.

What We're Looking For



* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and "Fit for Work" physical (may require a medical card for driving).
