JOB SUMMARY:

As Network Architect & Team Lead, you will define and implement the strategic network architecture for a global enterprise while leading a team of network engineers.

This role combines deep technical expertise in network design with hands-on leadership to ensure scalability, security, and performance across complex hybrid environments.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor technical staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to align network solutions with business objectives.

Essential job functions:



* Design and document enterprise network architectures, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and wireless systems.


* Develop network standards, reference architectures, and strategic roadmaps aligned with business goals.


* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies for scalability and security.



* Provide technical supervision and mentorship to the network team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.


* Guide the team through project planning, execution, and delivery of network initiatives.


* Promote cross-training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement through routine staff meetings.



* Oversee implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure, including switches, Wireless Access Points, firewalls, and SD-WAN appliances.


* Serve as an escalation point for complex network issues and advanced troubleshooting.


* Ensure timely execution of upgrades, patches, and changes in compliance with IT change management processes.



* Partner with IT leadership and global infrastructure teams to align architecture with organizational strategy.


* Manage vendor relationships, including roadmap discussions, support escalations, and vendor selection.


* Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO).


* Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
