Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activity Assistant to help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents.

Your Responsibilities


* Lead Daily Activities: Plan and facilitate engaging group activities, hobbies, games, and local outings that promote social connection, creativity, and overall well-being.


* Create Meaningful Experiences: Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests, abilities, and individual preferences.


* Build Relationships: Develop warm, respectful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.


* Maintain a Safe Environment: Follow facility policies and safety standards while ensuring activities are appropriate and enjoyable for all residents.


* Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing and other departments to support resident engagement and quality of life.

Qualifications


* 1+ year of experience in activities, recreation, senior care, or a related field preferred.


* Excellent attendance and strong reliability are required.


* Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.


* Positive, creative, and energetic personality with a genuine interest in working with seniors.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Must maintain natural, short nails ; fake, long, or artificial nails are not permitted.
