Lakemoor Cannabis Budtender / Cannabis Dispensary Budtender Location: Lakemoor Pay: $17/hour Plus Tips Schedule: Part-Time Retail Schedule Including Nights and Weekends Position: Part-Time Budtender Less than 30 Hours per Week We are actively hiring Budtenders / Cannabis Retail Associates to join our NOBO Lakemoor dispensary team.

This role focuses on customer service, cannabis product education, and retail sales while ensuring full compliance with Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation.

What You'll Do Customer Experience Welcome customers and create a friendly dispensary environment Verify customer identification and purchase eligibility Educate customers on cannabis products and consumption methods Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs Provide excellent customer service throughout the shopping experience Retail Sales & Operations Process transactions using the Dutchie POS system Maintain clean and organized product displays Restock products and maintain inventory presentation Assist with opening and closing procedures Support the Shift Lead or Manager on duty during busy periods Compliance Follow all Illinois IDFPR cannabis regulations Ability to obtain and maintain an IDFPR dispensing Badge Complete IDFPR-approved Responsible Vendor Training within 90 days of employment and annually to renew your badge.

Maintain accurate product handling and transaction procedures Support METRC inventory compliance Follow store security and product handling protocols Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Ability to obtain and maintain Illinois IDFPR Agent Registration Strong customer service skills Reliable transportation Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience Retail sales or customer service experience Cannabis dispensary or budtender experience Knowledge of cannabis products and strains Experience with Dutchie POS system and METRC What Makes a Great Budtender Friendly and customer-focused personality Passion for cannabis education Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment Strong attention to detail and compliance Team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods of time Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Bend, reach, and move throughout the sales floor Work in a busy retail environment Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals.
