035102 Assembly Operator (Open)

Job Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Industrial Manufacturing colleague for hand assembly, automated assembly, packaging products, amongst other production-oriented tasks.

1st Shift:

Monday-Thursday: 4am-2:30pm

Key Responsibilities


* Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.


* Packaging Products into both bulk packaging and individual cartons.


* Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.


* Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.


* Maintains logs and records of units produced.


* Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.


* Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.


* Follow safety policies and procedures.


* Reliable and focused.


* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2- 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Knowledge and Skills


* Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.


* Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.


* Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production / manufacturing equipment.


* Reading, writing and speaking English.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $30.87annually.

Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between19.39 to19.39.

Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role.
