Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an enthusiastic cashier/server who will provide a critical role in delivering an exceptional service to our residents and guests.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITY: Assist in preparation and service of meals.

Must adhere to dining service cash and key handling standards.

Follow opening and closing procedures.

Maintain full and appealing retail stock.

Keep the dining room cleanliness.

Take customer order via POS system.

Deliver food and beverages to customer tables.

Occasionally deliver food to resident apartments.

Clear tables in accordance with company standards.

Ensure timely and efficient meal service for all.

Effectively and accurately use POS system to take resident orders and handle cash, card, or dining dollar transactions in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.

Assist in setting buffet, plating of meals, and serving meals.

Wash and store dishes.

Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Food Handlers certification.

PHYSICAL DEMAND: Safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

Stand for 8 or more hours a day.
