Quality Assurance Administrator

Responsibilities Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Sets up, calibrates and maintains existing and new testing equipment in the lab.Reviews and approves daily QA data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.Identifies areas for quality improvement and leads team to achieve desired targets.Directs and ensures that QC/QA & Sanitation personnel are properly trained.Maintains compliance with the FDA and other governing bodies (city/state/health department).Serves as the SQF Practitioner for the facility.Is HACCP trained.Manages internal and external audits and compliance for SQF, including overseeing corrective actions.Participates in SQF audits and all other audits.Verifies and audits ongoing policies, SOPs and food safety/SQF compliance.Investigate and resolve customer complaints.Ensures that employees are properly trained in their positions.Conducts internal inspections.Oversees daily food safety tasks.Obtains Letters of Guarantee from all suppliers.Obtains Material Specs from all suppliers.Ensures SQF policies and procedures are followed; to include environmental monitoring.Perform all other tasks as required by management.
