035010 Shipper Receiver - First Shift (Open)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


* Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently using forklifts and other material handling equipment.


* Verify shipment accuracy by checking quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation.


* Stage and organize products for outbound shipments according to shipping schedules and customer requirements.


* Inspect trailers before loading to ensure they meet safety and cleanliness standards.


* Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transportation.


* Complete and maintain bills of lading, shipping documents, and electronic shipment records.


* Coordinate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to support daily shipping activities.


* Identify and report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and shipping issues.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area.


* Support inventory control efforts through accurate product handling and movement.


* Follow all safety procedures and company standards.


* Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills


* Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving, experience preferred.


* Forklift experience preferred.


* Ability to read shipping documents and work instructions.


* Basic computer skills.


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


* Inventory control knowledge


* Organization and time management skills


* Effective communication and commitment to teamwork


* Problem solving skills


* Practices workplace safety


* Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.


* Ability to work with a team in a fast pace environment

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $28.03annually.
