Position Summary

ALL Erection & Crane Rental, located in Independence, is seeking a Billing Clerk and Accounting Assistant with solid general office skills to assist with billing, invoicing, and other accounting functions.

This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

 

Essential Functions


* Oversee billing and invoicing.


* Maintain up-to-date account billing.


* Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries.


* Perform billing, collections, and other office support activities.


* Transfer data to general ledger.


* Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.


* Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.


* Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.


* Assist in month end reporting procedures


* Use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies


* Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.


* Perform a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. 


* Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Requirements


* Experience with NexGen maintenance software preferred.


* Current Notary, preferred.


* Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing


* Three (3+) years experience with Accounts Receivable or Billing, highly desired.


* Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.


* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
