What are we looking for?
The Laboratory Technician performs laboratory testing of construction materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, GDOT, and project specifications.

This position is responsible for producing accurate test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting testing activities, and supporting quality control efforts while working both independently and as part of a team.

What you'll do:


* Perform laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, grout, masonry, and other construction materials


* Prepare, sample, and test materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, GDOT, and project specifications


* Accurately document, calculate, and report test results


* Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and cleanliness


* Assist with quality assurance and quality control procedures


* Review laboratory data for completeness and accuracy


* Coordinate with field technicians, project managers, and clients regarding testing schedules and sample status


* Maintain laboratory inventory and testing supplies


* Follow all company safety policies and laboratory procedures


* Assist with special testing projects and other laboratory duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High School Diploma / GED required


* Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)


* Previous experience working in a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) laboratory
