Student Worker - Test Proctor

General Job Brief: The test proctoris responsible for maintaining and administering academic tests in the ACU Test Center.

This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

Primary Duties: Attend all assigned shiftsGreet and check students in for testsSchedule testing appointments for studentsProctor tests on paper or in a digital formatProtect the integrity of testing materials and the confidentiality of examinees and staffMaintain test files for faculty; assure security of testing materials, including passwords for online testsMaintain the testing facility in an appropriate manner and immediately notify supervisor of any problems with space or equipmentFollow FERPA policies and keep student grades and academic progress confidentialBe direct and kind with students and possess good interpersonal communication skills Other Duties and Responsibilities: Complete FERPA online training and produce a certificate of completion to supervisor prior to start dateCommunicate regularly with test center supervisorLog and report general student usage of the testing centerCommunicate with faculty who are using the test center to proctor student examsInput time worked into UKG for compensation purposesConduct oneself with utmost integrity and professionalismCompleting other duties and tasks with utmost integrity and professionalism, as directed, and not necessarily mentioned in this description, will be expected.Commitment to the Universitys faith statement, mission, and purposes; and an active Christian faith.Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff.The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings.Demonstrated alignment with and enthusiastic support for the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University, including signing the University's Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually.

Qualifications: Personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as a commitment to ACU's Statement of Faith and Core valuesMust be currently enrolled as a student at ACUPossess good interpersonal communication skillsAvailable to work up to ten hours per weekCurrent student of ACU in good standing - SAPMust complete a current FAFSA for consideration Fair Labor Standards Act:This position is considered to be part-time, non-exempt as provided by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and any applicable state laws.
