Tax. - Tax Consultant - Tax Transformation Consulting - Summer 2027

In a complex global tax environment, organizations need technology-enabled solutions to manage compliance, reporting, and planning.

As a Tax Consultant in Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Consulting practice, you will help clients document tax requirements and support technology solutions that improve tax operations.

Work you'll do

As a Tax Consultant on the Tax Transformation Consulting team, you will be responsible for:


* Supporting tax technology projects involving enterprise resource planning systems and tax applications


* Analyzing multi-jurisdictional tax operations, including compliance, reporting, and risk management for direct and indirect taxes


* Assessing processes, technology, and resourcing models and helping develop transformation roadmaps


* Contributing to improvements in tax processes, controls, and operating models

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Technology Consulting practice helps tax departments streamline compliance, reporting, and planning through technology-enabled transformation.

The team combines tax technical knowledge and technology experience to support enterprise resource planning initiatives, tax applications, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Required:


* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027 or have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or information technology


* Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)


* You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required .

You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations


* Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve


* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.


* Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.


* The start date for this position will be Summer 2027

Preferred:


* Internship, co-op, or other work experience in technology
