Machine Operator - 2nd shift

MACHINE OPERATOR 2nd SHIFT Are you asking yourself what you would really do in this role? You would Support Caregivers and Protect Patients! Job Summary We are currently seeking a machine operator.

At the TIDI Products plant in Neenah, WI, machine operators are responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of a production machine, and for ensuring all finished product is properly packaged for shipment to the customer.

This role is an important one, as the finished products will be used by healthcare professionals who count on us to provide them with the tools they need to safely and effectively do their jobs.

2nd shift positions are available, with working hours of 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

The starting pay rate for machine operators is $21.69 per hour + $1.00 shift differential.

Essential responsibilities of the entry level machine operator are: Safe operation of machines and other equipmentUnder direct supervision during training, performance of quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and ability to recognize product outside the specified toleranceActive communication with material handlers regarding materials needed for current and upcoming orders.Accurate completion of device history record (DHR) paperwork and label verification, with direction from trainerResponsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality check sheets on a daily basis, with direction from trainer During the training period, the entry-level machine operator will learn the following: How to operate equipment safely, including Lock Out/Tag OutQuality guidelinesHow to load parent rolls on unwindsHow to web a machineHow to perform tension adjustmentsHow to shim and adjust cutting equipmentHow to perform a machine set-upHow to perform a changeover What can you expect from TIDI?
