Data Conversion Developer

What Your Impact Will Be
You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and customer Subject Matter Experts to understand data structures, document requirements, and deliver repeatable, auditable conversion processes.
Key responsibilities include:
•    Documenting customer data requirements and collaborating with project teams to identify in scope and out of scope data
•    Designing, developing, testing, and executing data conversion routines within an established conversion framework
•    Creating and maintaining detailed internal and customer facing conversion documentation
•    Migrating data from multiple source systems and formats into Microsoft SQL Server
•    Developing complex T SQL scripts to transform legacy data into target application structures
•    Writing and maintaining automation scripts using Windows PowerShell and Python
•    Verifying data integrity, identifying data quality issues, and recommending remediation strategies
•    Reconciling converted data to source systems to ensure completeness and accuracy
•    Troubleshooting technical and functional issues during implementation
•    Communicating progress, risks, and findings clearly to management and project stakeholders
•    Building strong working relationships across internal teams to support successful project delivery

What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
•    Professional English proficiency, both written and spoken
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in data conversion, data migration, or a closely related field using T SQL
•    Intermediate to advanced T SQL skills, including: 
o    Complex queries and joins
o    Dynamic SQL
o    Views, functions, and stored procedures
•    Strong understanding of relational database design and set based coding methodologies
•    Foundational DBA Knowledge, including SQL Server backups and restores, indexing, and SQL query tuning
•    Experience working with a variety of data sources and interfaces, such as: 
o    Microsoft Access
o    Oracle
o    AS400
o    Flat files (CSV, fixed width, text)
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
•    High attention to detail with a proactive, ownership driven mindset
•    Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet delivery deadlines
•    Ability to quickly learn new products, interpret requirements, and recommend technical solutions
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Willingness to be coached, mentored, and continuously improve technical and professional skills
