DHL Global Forwarding PAC is seeking an exceptional executive leader to assume the role of Head of Oceanfreight PAC, responsible for defining and executing the Oceanfreight strategy across the PAC, driving profitable growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, network optimization and long-term value creation aligned with Regional and Global Oceanfreight priorities. 

Key Qualifications 


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred. 



* Experience: More than 15 years of experience in Oceanfreight, Freight Forwarding, Transportation or Logistics and more than 10 years leading multinational and multi-country organizations. 



* Language: Advanced English proficiency; Spanish preferred. 



* Technical Knowledge: Oceanfreight product management, carrier procurement, trade lane management, pricing, yield management, customer solutions, digital transformation, operational excellence and P&L management. 



* RCS Level: G 

Key Responsibilities 


* Define and execute the Oceanfreight strategy for the PAC in alignment with Regional Americas and Global Oceanfreight objectives. 



* Drive sustainable growth, market share expansion, profitability and customer retention across all PAC countries. 



* Own the Oceanfreight P&L and monitor revenue, gross profit, volume, yield and productivity KPIs. 



* Lead strategic ocean carrier partnerships, procurement negotiations and capacity management strategies across key trade lanes. 



* Establish product standards, operating models and performance frameworks across the cluster. 



* Direct highly strategic initiatives with significant impact on customer experience, profitability and operational performance. 



* Anticipate market, trade lane and carrier developments and ensure the organization is positioned to capitalize on emerging opportunities. 



* Drive innovation, digitalization and implementation of world-class Oceanfreight practices. 



* Define and drive service quality objectives and ensure compliance with corporate governance, security and regulatory requirements. 



* Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and major product investment initiatives. 



* Act as escalation point for critical commercial, operational or customer matters.
