Email Marketing Manager



* You'll own the email and SMS channel across the portfolio, exercising independent judgment to translate Commercial and Content priorities into campaign, segmentation, and lifecycle decisions.


* Working within the strategy and growth goals set by the Senior Director of Technology, you'll determine how campaigns are structured, tested, and optimized, and advise stakeholders on how to improve channel performance.


* You'll work closely with Ascent360, our CDP/CRM technology partner, and support lifecycle, CRM, and loyalty efforts across the portfolio, with the opportunity to help build and operate SMS as that channel matures.


* You will support the On a Lark Loyalty program through email and lifecycle execution, including member communications, segmentation, QA, and reporting.

Job Duties:


* Campaign Architecture & Deployment: Determine campaign structure, segmentation logic, dynamic content, and automation design in Ascent360, then build, QA, and deploy.

Exercise independent judgment on audience targeting and content configuration for each send


* Request Intake & Pipeline Management: Manage the email request pipeline from the Commercial and Content teams — balancing priorities, timelines, audiences, and the campaign calendar.


* Reporting & Performance: Own recurring reporting back to the Commercial and Content teams — engagement, conversion, revenue attribution, subject lines, content and CTAs — and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations.


* Email Governance & Deliverability: Maintain subscription management, deliverability, suppression logic, consent compliance, and quality-assurance standards.


* CRM, Segmentation & Lifecycle Support: Build audience segments and support lifecycle programs using CRM/CDP, behavioral, demographic, and engagement data, partnering with Ascent360.


* Full-Portfolio & Partner Coverage: Own email strategy and execution for the branded collections (Lark, AWOL, Bluebird by Lark, Blind Tiger) and, as a service to our Managed by Lark and independent hotel partners, advise on and tailor each partner's channel approach to their voice, audience, and business goals.


* Creative & Brand Voice: Write on-brand copy and subject lines that capture each property's personality while staying true to Lark's broader brand voice.


* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the operational hub between the Commercial team (offers, promotions, revenue priorities, segments) and the Content team (copy, creative, brand) to ship accurate, on-brand, accessible, mobile-responsive campaigns.


* Content & Input Gathering: Proactively source campaign inputs — offers, rates, promotions, programming, dates, and creative assets — from the Commercial, Content, and on-property teams, chasing down what's needed to build each send accurately and on time.
