Job Description:

Maintenance Supervisor — Tube & Core Manufacturing

Location: Bay Minette, Alabama

Greif is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance operations at our Bay Minette Tube Plant.

This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians who perform preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment improvements on electrical and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader who can effectively coordinate maintenance activities, develop team members, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner closely with production and operational teams to ensure safe and reliable plant performance.

What You'll Do

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee daily maintenance activities and support equipment reliability throughout the facility.

You will lead maintenance personnel, coordinate repair and preventive maintenance efforts, analyze equipment performance, and help implement improvements that enhance productivity, uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with Operations, Safety, Engineering, and Operational Excellence teams to support plant goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



* Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for plant equipment and facility systems.


* Lead a team of maintenance technicians responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.


* Support continuous improvement efforts through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts, techniques, and processes.


* Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements that increase equipment availability, capability, and yield.


* Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify trends, improve reliability, and support operational performance.


* Perform and support equipment failure investigations, including preventive and unscheduled maintenance analyses.


* Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
