SCADA Project Manager II, EPC (Remote)

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

Job Description Summary:
The EPC SCADA Project Manager II manages utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects related to SCADA systems, with responsibility for planning, scope management, budgeting, buyout coordination, controls and reporting, scheduling, and risk management.

This role independently leads projects of moderate complexity and provides technical and execution leadership to deliver successful project outcomes.

This role can be remote or hybrid, with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


* Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget throughout the EPC project lifecycle for utility-scale solar and BESS projects of moderate complexity.


* Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure project execution aligns with contractual terms and SOLV standards.


* Serve as the primary point of contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal SOLV teams.


* Coordiante cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and 3rd party SCADA providers, by providing task direction, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.


* Lead procurement and contract execution activities, including scope coordination, scheduling, material procurement, and project closeout.


* Work closely with field teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality installation of SCADA system components.


* Lead system design reviews, commissioning activities, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities, ensuring technical and contractual alignment.


* Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules to ensure SCADA activities do not delay the overall project's critical milestones.


* Prepare and manage monthly cost reporting and forecasting for assigned projects.


* Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, change requests, and action tracking, ensuring timely resolution and alignment across stakeholders.


* Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical, commercial, and execution risks, escalating issues and helping to find mitigation strategies as needed.


* Maintain and manage relationships with SOLV Energy business partners, clients, and industry vendors.


* Implement and reinforce SOLV best practices in project scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
