UI UX Designer (Mid-Level)
Job Summary / Purpose
Design thoughtful, visually refined user experiences for Neptune’s digital products across web and mobile platforms.
This role is ideal for a mid-level designer with a strong foundation in visual design and a focus on quality and attention to detail, able to translate user needs and complex, data-rich requirements into intuitive, well-executed interfaces.
You’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of Neptune’s digital products, working across multiple platforms and use cases.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of design challenges from complex, data-rich enterprise tools to customer-facing applications requiring adaptability, strong systems thinking, and a consistent focus on design quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Create high-quality UI designs with strong attention to typography, layout, color, and interaction
details
• Design with accessibility in mind, applying WCAG best practices to create inclusive, usable
experiences
• Translate complex product requirements and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, and
high-fidelity designs
• Design for data-heavy enterprise applications (e.g., dashboards, complex workflows, and
information-dense interfaces)
• Design responsive experiences that work effectively across screen sizes and devices
• Adapt design approaches across multiple products and problem spaces, maintaining consistency
while addressing unique user needs
• Collaborate with Product to define and refine user problems, translating insights into effective
design solutions
• Contribute to and help evolve design systems, UI patterns, and standards
• Apply user-centered design principles by balancing user needs, business goals, and technical
constraints, incorporating feedback and research into iterative solutions
• Communicate and validate design ideas through mockups, interactive prototypes, and
presentations
• Work independently with a proactive mindset, while demonstrating a strong desire to learn and
grow
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in visual and interaction
design
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI or product design
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
• Portfolio required – showcasing strong visual design, polished user interfaces, and attention to
detail
• Experience designing for enterprise or data-heavy applications, including complex workflows
and dense interfaces
• Proven ability to deliver high-fidelity, production-ready designs
• Experience creating interactive prototypes to explore and communicate design solutions
• Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI patterns
