(Remote) Software Developer

MACC, a division of Harris; is seeking a Software Developer who has expertise in MSSQL, REST API, C# (.NET Core), and Angular (Typescript, HTML, CSS).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US.

Travel is required as needed, approximately 10% for AGM in Eastern Nebraska.

Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel.

This includes either passport based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas for entry into the United States.

Salary:

40K - 65K

What your impact will be:


* Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MSSQL.


* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications.


* Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# using .NET Core.


* Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.


* Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.


* Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.


* Take part in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.


* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What we are looking for:


* Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


* Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.


* Proven proficiency in MSSQL and database design.


* Experience with REST API development and integration.


* Proficiency in C# and .NET Core framework.


* Experience with Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.


* Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.

What would make you stand out:


* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.


* Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
