Outside Sales Representative – New Business Development

Location: Remote – Local to Michigan or Ohio

Territory: Northeast Region

Travel: Frequent Local and Overnight Travel Required

Greif is expanding our sales team and seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative – New Business Development professional to accelerate growth across our Northeast territory.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating new business opportunities, and delivering profitable growth.

We are looking for a true hunter who enjoys being in front of customers, uncovering opportunities, and winning new business.

While maintaining and growing existing accounts, this role will focus heavily on business development and expanding Greif’s presence within key markets.

What We're Looking For


* A true Road Warrior—comfortable with frequent local and overnight travel throughout the assigned territory.


* A hunter mindset with a passion for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.


* Industrial packaging experience is a plus, but a proven track record of sales success, customer engagement, and territory management is essential.


* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.


* Self-motivated professional who can work independently while delivering measurable results.

Local Presence Matters

Although this is a remote opportunity, candidates must reside in Michigan or Ohio to effectively manage customer relationships and support travel requirements throughout the assigned northeast territory.
