The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Tender Engineer to join our growing Global Services team.

Reporting to our Global Services Pre-Sales Leader, you will be responsible for the preparation of quotations and tender submissions covering the full range of our Critical Power Services activities.

Examples include; Critical Power, Cooling, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, various maintenance contracts, replacements, end of life disposals and an expanding range of Digital Services.

Key Responsibilities



* Review customer RFQ's, specifications and tender specifications Service activities


* Identify cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirements


* Collaborate with local and international stakeholders on an ongoing basis


* Interact with Customers when required, leveraging your technical knowledge to provide solutions


* Prepare tender documentation including quotations, technical compliance, risk assessments and approval documentations


* Prepare costing sheets to show the cost and margin of offers, ensuring minimum margin levels are achieved, whilst respecting market price levels


* Prepare quotations within agreed timeframes that define the technical solution proposed, whilst mitigating technical and commercial risks


* Contribute to the business growth in accordance with company strategy and ambition


* Utilise ERP systems to process Purchase Orders and handover won projects to execution teams


* Domestic travel when required

About You



* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) combined with experience in a similar Tendering role and previous exposure to Data Centers or mission critical environments


* Depth of hands-on experience in tender management, preparing techno-commercial offers and operating with a high level of rigour within an environment defined by set processes


* Experience in the supply, installation and site testing of Critical Power and Cooling equipment and their associated systems


* Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, commercial conditions and contractual requirements


* Natural ability to form and maintain close relationships with diverse stakeholder groups through your well-developed communication skills
