About You


* A bachelor's degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, or Civil Engineering Technology


* 10 to 15 years of roadway design or transportation project delivery.


* Certification as an AICP or Professional Engineer (P.E.) is desired.


* Strong experience with TDOT projects, strongly preferred


* Demonstrated working knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), strongly preferred

About the Role

As a Senior Roadway Engineer, you will:


* Leverage long-standing relationships with municipalities, counties, and public agencies to strengthen client partnerships, support ongoing initiatives, and expand the firm's presence across the state.


* Serve as a trusted advisor to public-sector clients by providing guidance on navigating federal and state funding programs, requirements, and strategies to successfully secure and deliver funded projects.


* Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities within established networks and aligning client needs with the firm's technical capabilities and services.


* Provide insight into public agency processes, policies, and priorities to help shape project approaches, improve delivery, and enhance client outcomes.


* Assist clients in identifying, pursuing, and securing state and federal funding opportunities by aligning project needs with applicable programs, guiding application development, and positioning projects for successful delivery.


* Lead transportation planning and design projects from initiation through construction support and close-out in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with scope and quality standards.


* Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including internal staff and sub-consultants.
