What You'll Be Doing

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping residents improve mobility, regain strength, and maximize independence.
Responsibilities Include:


* Providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist


* Assisting residents in achieving functional goals and improved quality of life


* Implementing individualized treatment plans


* Monitoring resident progress and communicating updates to the therapy team


* Educating residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and functional mobility


* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements


* Collaborating with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care


* Bringing positive energy, compassion, and professionalism to every patient interaction

What We're Looking For
Qualifications:


* Active California Physical Therapist Assistant License (or eligible to obtain)


* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment


* Passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals


* Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus, but not required


* Familiarity with PointClickCare, Net Health, or similar EMR systems is preferred
