Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

This role plays a key part in infection control and overall resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities


* Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas


* Perform laundry duties (wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens/clothing)


* Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility


* Sanitize surfaces including handrails, fixtures, and high-touch areas


* Empty trash and manage waste disposal properly


* Follow infection control and safety protocols


* Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively


* Maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply areas


* Report safety concerns and supply needs promptly


* Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Qualifications


* Must be 18 years or older


* Housekeeping experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred)


* Compassion for an underserved population


* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness


* Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines


* Good communication and teamwork skills


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
