Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

This position will proactively engage with internal and external customers to provide day-to-day support to coordinate supply chain, shipping/receiving, inventory management, and related administrative activities.

Assist with material management duties, which include receiving and issuing materials, maintaining proper inventory levels, planning, maintaining maintenance orders, processing emergency breakdowns and performing monthly cyclical physical inventory.

* Administer the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies for Touchstone Advanced Composites business.


* Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.


* Review proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions for production.


* Assist with the vendor approval process and support the setup of vendors in the purchasing system.


* Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.


* Work with the team to help inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.


* Identify any issues during procurement and help resolve the concerns.


* Support Touchstone Advanced Composites management and coordinate with corporate supply chain with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.


* Maintain accounting systems relating to all purchases and receiving of goods and services, and outbound shipments to customers.


* Perform monthly cyclical physical inventory.


* Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.


* Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving team members.


* Support CFOAM panel proposals and manage the fulfillment of these orders.


* Assist in coordinating coal sourcing and pulverizing to support TAC businesses, including administration of our contract with Blairsville Services.


* Serve as a secondary administrator for our ITAR program, including checking companies/individuals, maintaining records for export program compliance, and conducting required audits.


* Provide general office management support, including ordering supplies, answering phones, greeting guests, retrieving mail, arranging for external services (cleaning, catering, supplies, rentals, copiers, etc.), and providing other administrative support as requested.


* Serve as a secondary contact for uniform services, waste removal services, fleet/vehicle maintenance.

 Required Skills and Experience


* Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED


* Proven experience with supply chain, logistics, or related experience.


* The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities.
