Infection Preventionist Nurse (LVN)
Arden Park Post Acute - Sacramento, CA
Pay: $40-$45/hour

Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated LVN Infection Preventionist Nurse to join our team.

This role is ideal for a nurse passionate about infection control, resident safety, and quality care in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:


* Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program


* Monitor, track, and report infections in compliance with CDC, OSHA, and public health guidelines


* Conduct infection control audits, surveillance, and facility rounds


* Provide staff education and in-service training on infection prevention practices


* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations


* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and interdisciplinary team to improve clinical outcomes


* Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reporting systems


* Identify risks and implement corrective action plans

Qualifications:


* Active California LVN license


* Experience in infection prevention, or strong clinical background in skilled nursing or post-acute care


* Working knowledge of infection control standards and regulations


* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


* Excellent communication and staff education skills
