All Saints Sub Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Assistant to join our team full-time.

As an Activity Assistant, you will help plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that promote residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Your enthusiasm and dedication will play a key role in creating a positive and vibrant environment for our residents.

Position Details


* Position: Full-Time Activity Assistant


* Location: San Leandro, CA


* Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour


* Schedule: Full-Time (weekends and holidays as needed)

Responsibilities


* Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs


* Lead group activities, games, arts and crafts, and special events


* Encourage resident participation and engagement


* Provide one-on-one visits and support for residents unable to attend group activities


* Assist with decorating and preparing activity spaces


* Transport residents to and from activities as needed


* Maintain activity records and documentation


* Support community outings and special celebrations


* Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive atmosphere

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Experience in healthcare, senior living, recreation, or customer service is a plus


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Compassionate, patient, and dependable


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Basic computer skills preferred


* Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport activity supplies and equipment as needed
