Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care that improves residents' mobility, strength, and overall function.
Key Responsibilities


* Provide direct patient care according to established treatment plans


* Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength, and independence


* Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members


* Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment

Qualifications


* Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


* Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Compassion for an underserved population
