Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team for the full-time NOC shift.

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day nursing activities during the assigned shift.

This role ensures nursing care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures, while maintaining the highest standards of quality resident care.

The RN works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and interdisciplinary care teams to support positive resident outcomes and a safe, efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership & Supervision


* Supervise nursing staff and oversee daily clinical operations during the assigned shift


* Ensure residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans


* Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status


* Provide guidance and support to CNAs and licensed nursing staff

Resident Care & Documentation


* Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations and standards


* Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary communication

Communication & Collaboration


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members


* Report concerns, incidents, and resident status updates to nursing leadership


* Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Compliance & Quality Assurance


* Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures


* Assist in maintaining survey readiness and regulatory compliance


* Support quality improvement initiatives and facility goals

Qualifications


* Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required


* Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred


* Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills


* Excellent communication and organizational abilities


* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment


* Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
