Position Overview

The HR Manager plays a vital role in supporting daily HR functions, payroll operations, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.

This position helps ensure a positive work environment aligned with organizational goals, values, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration


* Support HR operations in partnership with the Administrator, DON, and DSD


* Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs


* Maintain employee records, including hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations


* Assist with recruitment activities, candidate screening, interviews, and scheduling


* Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave programs, and related employee support


* Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations and reporting requirements


* Conduct HR audits and assist with employee relations matters and workers' compensation cases


* Coordinate employee in-services, health screenings, safety programs, fire drills, and disaster preparedness activities

Team & Communication


* Foster positive relationships with employees, residents, families, and the community


* Promote a professional and respectful workplace culture


* May provide supervision and support to an HR Assistant

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred


* Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
