Electrical Maintenance Tech III - Building C 1st shift.
Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To properly maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment to ensure proper and safe use.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES):
* Use and conduct proper care of PPE.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance.
* Install and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Install electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
* Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.
* Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment.
* Diagnose malfunctioning mechanical and electrical equipment, such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables using hand tools.
* Test malfunctioning machinery using test equipment and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers.
Test and diagnose defective equipment and identify solutions to repair defective equipment.
* Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors, and positions sensing devices using hand tools.
* Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards.
* Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
* Repair or correct safety concerns.
* Welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering as needed.
* Support RCI events.
* Clean equipment and work areas to enhance housekeeping (5S).
* General building maintenance.
* Record and document all maintenance repair work performed
* Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices.
* Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment.
* Perform all duties assigned by the supervisor
Basic Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* 3-5 years Industrial Electrical/Electronic experience required.

* High School Diploma/GED required.
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend required.
* Basic computer usage knowledge required.
Demonstrated ability in the operation of CNC equipment and other specialized equipment required .
* Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics required.
* Knowledge of operating machine tools, welding, carpentry, and electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical applications required .
