When you work as a Scientist I in the BioPharma Sciences group at KCAS, you get to further our mission by learning and applying your knowledge in bioanalytical and scientific principles to support study execution and development activities under the guidance of senior scientists.

You will begin building your foundation in assessing data integrity and troubleshooting with support.

Our BioPharma Sciences team uses ligand binding assay (LBA) platforms to conduct bioanalytical testing in support of drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including the quantification of proteins, biomarkers, and anti-drug antibodies in biological matrices using technologies such as ELISA, MSD, and other immunoassay-based methods.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
\n
\n


* Execute assigned portions of studies including sample preparation, reagent preparation, and assay execution under supervision\n


* Support method development, qualification, and validation activities by following established protocols\n


* Perform routine data processing and assist in preparing data summaries\n


* Troubleshoot basic assay or instrumentation issues with guidance\n


* Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with study protocols, SOPs and GLP regulatory requirements\n


* Ensure proper sample identification, handling, and tracking\n


* Communicate progress and escalate issues to senior staff as needed\n


* Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values\n

To qualify for this role, you will have:

\n


* Bachelor's degree in scientific field\n


* Hands-on experience working in a GLP-regulated laboratory environment (required)\n


* Experience with ligand binding assays (LBA) such as ELISA, MSD, or similar immunoassay platforms\n


* Basic understanding of protein biology, immunology, or biomarker analysis\n


* Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as pipetting, plate-based assays, and standard lab equipment\n


* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP-driven workflows\n
