A Brief Overview

The Chemical Receiver is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, documentation, and organization of incoming chemicals and materials.

This role supports warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, proper handling of hazardous materials, and maintaining a well-organized receiving area.

The Chemical Receiver also assists with inventory management and contributes to a safe and efficient work environment.

What you will do


* Verify and document incoming shipments of chemicals and materials.

Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.

Enter receipt information into inventory management systems and generate pallet ID tags or labels as required.


* Maintain organized files and records for all receiving-related documentation.

Research and resolve discrepancies or issues with shipments.

Check in small package deliveries (e.g., UPS, FedEx) and catalog them appropriately.


* Facilitate the movement, placement, and staging of received materials.

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers when needed.


* Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards.

Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Train other employees in receiving processes as needed.


* Ensure proper labeling and segregation of hazardous chemicals in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams to maintain proper chemical storage.
