As our Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will lead the end-to-end sales and delivery lifecycle—from initial enquiry and conversion through to planning and execution—ensuring both revenue targets and guest expectations are exceeded.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams, you’ll balance strategic sales focus with operational excellence to deliver outstanding results.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Proactively manage and convert inbound enquiries into confirmed events
* Drive revenue through strategic selling, upselling, and account development
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, and social segments
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to generate repeat business
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless event execution and service delivery
* Manage forecasting, reporting, and budgeting to achieve financial and commercial targets
* Deliver exceptional, personalised event experiences with strong attention to detail
* Lead, coach, and support a small team to drive performance and engagement
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in conference & events, sales, or a similar revenue-focused role
* Proven track record in converting business and driving revenue growth
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong focus on client satisfaction
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Experience with Opera PMS and Delphi (or similar systems) is advantageous
* Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Events, or a related field (preferred)
