Stock Clerk - Emergency Room

The County of Riverside's University Health System - Medical Center (RUHS-MC) Emergency Room Department is seeking a dedicated Regular Stock Clerk to join our team in Moreno Valley.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Under supervision, receives, stores, and issues a variety of supplies, tools, and equipment; maintains records of items received and issued; loads and unloads freight, supplies, and equipment from trucks; and performs other related duties as required.

The most competitive candidate will have s ix months of experience performing stock clerical duties.

The Stock Clerk is an entry-level classification and, based on area of assignment, reports to a para-professional or higher-level class.

Incumbents receive initial training in the techniques and procedures essential to the classification's duties.

This class is assigned to supply units within County departments and is responsible for the receipt, storage, and routing of supplies, materials, and equipment delivered to their departments.

Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include related duties such as driving delivery vehicles; maintaining department inventory records; preparing requisitions and inventory cards; sorting and distributing incoming department mail; packaging items scheduled for distribution to branch offices, etc.

The RUHS-MC is a 24-hour facility - incumbents must be flexible to work any shift including weekends and holidays.

This position works a total of 80 hours within a two week pay period.

6/12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift.
