Health Information Manager (HIM)

Full Time - Health Information Manager - Behavioral Health Hospital

Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility.

Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.

What You'll Do:


* Lead and oversee all Health Information Management (HIM) services


* Ensure medical records meet federal, state, and facility guidelines


* Audit records for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance


* Maintain strict confidentiality and data security


* Supervise, train, and support medical records staff


* Oversee ICD & CPT coding processes as needed

What We're Looking For:


* High School Diploma required; Bachelor's in Health Information Administration preferred


* RHIT, CCA, or CCS certification required


* 2 years supervising a medical records department preferred


* 1 year behavioral health experience preferred


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

* 64-bed acute inpatient setting


* IOP/PHP oversight


* Adult and Geriatric client population


* Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment


* Acute intervention focus with short term stays
