JOB OVERVIEW :
Under the close supervision of an administrative superior, performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled cleaning and building construction, alteration, landscaping, maintenance and repair work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Serves as a lead worker over Service Worker I/II, part-time employees and volunteers.
Event set up and tear down of daily and weekly events.
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled painting, carpentry, plastering, masonry, plumbing, metal work, electrical, mechanical maintenance and related work.
Repairs faucets, unstops clogged lines and performs other plumbing work.
Installs and replaces light fixtures, outlets, bulbs, fuses and performs other electrical work.
Maintains and repairs locks, appliances, boilers, pneumatic controls, heating and refrigeration systems and related mechanical devices; monitors gauges and adjusts controls on equipment.
Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork, furniture and fixtures.
Welds, brazes, solders, and cuts material using oxy-acetylene and electric welding equipment to repair existing structures or in the construction of new facilities.
Operates equipment and tools used in maintenance and repair work.
Operates tractors, backhoes, skid steers, as well as other equipment.
Operates equipment used for landscaping: riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers and edgers.
Operates snow removal vehicles: (trucks with plows) ATVs with plows and snow blowers.
Clean and maintains bathrooms, cleans up trash before, during and after events.
Staging of events, taking events down, tractor driving- arena prep, as well as during events.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
Education: High school graduation or equivalent.
Experience: One (1) year of experience involving manual skills related to Building Construction, Alteration, Maintenance and Repair Work.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):
Knowledge: Working knowledge of the standard methods, practices, tools and materials used in a variety of building maintenance functions.
