Pediatric Physician Assistant Fellow, Emergency Services

Physician Assistant Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

1 year position; October 19 2026 - September 30 2027

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Program and Nemours Hospital for Children is the first program to offer Physician Assistants specialized training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

The program is 12 months in duration and is comprised of didactic, clinical components.

Fellows engage in bidirectional evaluation and are supported by numerous preceptors, administrative staff, and other allied health professionals.

Fellows will be afforded a stipend, along with a full benefits package and continuing medical education funds.

Fellows will also accrue paid time off.

The program equips Physician Assistants with didactic and clinical experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, making them excellent candidates for future careers in Pediatric or General Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications:


* Graduation from a Accredited PA Program, receiving a passing score on the PA certification exam.


* Must be eligible to apply for DE licensure, CSR, DEA.


* GPA of at least 3.25.


* Must have previous experience with peds


* Must have participated in volunteer events
