What Your Impact Is
* Ensure environmental data meets national, regional, and project‑specific standards through verification and validation processes.
* Partner with ERM and client‑contracted laboratories to confirm that project data quality objectives are achieved.
* Build strong working relationships with clients, ERM colleagues, and subcontractors.
* Manage multiple tasks within defined scope, budget, and schedule expectations while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
* Collaborate with ERM’s Technical Communities to advance innovative data services and develop automated workflows that enhance our capabilities.
What You’ll Bring
Required
* BS/BA degree in chemistry or a related field; or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
* 2-3 years of experience in environmental data quality with strong analytical skills.
* Knowledge of analytical methods relevant to environmental sampling.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Comfort working at a desk performing computer‑based tasks.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
* This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred
* Experience performing environmental data validation and/or data quality reviews in accordance with USEPA National Functional Guidelines (NFGs) or regional guidance such as TRRP, NYSDEC DUSR, ADEC, etc.
* Hands‑on experience with analytical laboratory instruments (e.g., GC/MS, GC, ICP, LC).
* Familiarity with environmental field sample collection procedures.
* Experience using EarthSoft’s EQuIS™ software.
* Background in environmental chemistry, analytical laboratory work, and/or previous data validation experience.
