Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst II to support data-driven decision-making within a growing community bank with approximately $25 billion in assets.

This role is ideal for a professional with 2–4 years of experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about leveraging data to enhance financial performance, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

The BI Analyst II will partner with business units such as Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Finance, Risk, and Operations to deliver insights, reporting, and dashboards that support strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Dashboard Development


* Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI (or comparable BI platforms).


* Build and maintain datasets, semantic models, and measures (DAX).


* Design reports that are visually intuitive, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Data Analysis & Business Insights


* Analyze business performance trends and provide actionable insights.


* Support KPI development, metric definitions, and standard reporting frameworks.


* Assist business partners in interpreting data and validating results.

SQL & Data Validation


* Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for extracting and transforming data.


* Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.


* Partner with data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues.

Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement


* Gather requirements through meetings, interviews, and documentation.


* Translate business questions into technical reporting requirements.


* Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress clearly.
