Sales Manager-Industrial Automation Services

Join our dynamic team as a the Sales Manager -Industrial Automation Services is responsible for driving growth of Industrial Automation and digitalization services across Qatar & Kuwait, supporting customers in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Water, Utilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Buildings.

The role combines strong technical pre-sales expertise with services sales execution, focusing on automation install base services, modernization, digital services, and lifecycle support, while acting as a trusted advisor to customers on operational efficiency, reliability, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1.Technical Expertise & Solution Consulting


* Develop and maintain deep technical understanding of Industrial Automation platforms, services, and architectures.


* Stay current with industrial automation technologies, standards, and market trends.


* Act as a technical advisor to customers, addressing operational, efficiency, reliability, and digitalization challenges.

2.Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development


* Engage customers to assess technical requirements, operational challenges, and business needs.


* Identify and develop new IA services opportunities across existing install base and new customers.


* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and engineering teams.

3.Solution Presentation & Value Positioning


* Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and service proposals that clearly articulate value.


* Position Industrial Automation services including:Modernization and retrofit services,AMC and lifecycle service contracts,digital services and remote support,training and capability development.Support customers with technical clarifications during tender and proposal stages.

4.Pre-Sales Technical Support & PoCs


* Provide pre-sales technical support, addressing customer questions on solution functionality, compatibility, and performance.


* Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) where required.


* Ensure proposed solutions align with technical feasibility, standards, and best practices.

5.Services Business Development & Sales Execution


* Drive the Industrial Automation Field Services business growth, focusing on prescription and solution selection,install base penetration and lifecycle and recurring services.


* Coordinate tenders, quotations, and proposals with relevant internal divisions, ensuring compliance with company processes,on-time submissionand customer satisfaction.


* Achieve agreed monthly and yearly order and sales targets.

6.Knowledge Transfer & Internal Enablement


* Support product and solution knowledge transfer to sales and account teams.


* Enable teams to effectively position IA services and value propositions.
