Midtown Oaks Post Acute in Sacramento is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented LVN to join our clinical leadership team as an Infection Preventionist LVN.

🔎 Position Overview

This position plays a vital part in ensuring regulatory compliance, infection control excellence.

You'll collaborate closely with nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and frontline staff to maintain a safe, compliant and resident-centered environment.

🦠 Infection Preventionist Responsibilities:


* Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program


* Track, trend, and report infections in accordance with CDPH and CDC guidelines


* Conduct infection control surveillance and audits


* Provide staff education and training on infection prevention practices


* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations


* Serve as liaison during audits and surveys

✅ Qualifications:


* Current California LVN license (required)


* Infection Prevention experience preferred (IP certification a plus)


* Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations


* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills


* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
