HCM Systems Administrator
Overview:
As an HCM Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting, analyzing, and enhancing the organization’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system, Dayforce .You will collaborate closely with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Leadership teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective system integration.
This role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage system configurations, projects, and enhancements within the Dayforce platform that support organizational goals and workforce initiatives.
This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be within driving distance of one of our offices in Erie, Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia, with preference to the Erie Region.
The position will follow a hybrid work model with a combination of onsite and remote work based on team and business needs.
What you’ll bring:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and translate them into effective Dayforce system solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
• Advanced technical skills related to HCM systems, with a strong preference for Dayforce configuration, data architecture, reporting, and system optimization.
• Knowledge of system security, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and other federal/state employment regulations.
What you’ll have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in HRIS/HCM administration.
• Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing HCM (Dayforce strongly preferred).
• Experience with HCM reporting, data analysis, and workforce analytics (SQL or reporting tools a plus).
• Proven ability to manage HCM system updates, implementations, integrations, and testing (UAT).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to cross-functional project teams.
• Eligibility to meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements applicable to the role.
A typical day may include:
• Administering, configuring, and maintaining the Dayforce HCM system, including workflows, business rules, dashboards, and integrations.
• Collaborating with Data Analytics, HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and vendors to ensure Dayforce system functionality and data integrity.
• Managing Dayforce system updates, enhancements, testing, and release processes.
• Troubleshooting Dayforce system issues and providing tier-two support for HCM-related inquiries.
• Creating and maintaining Dayforce standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards to support HR, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Performing data audits and validation within Dayforce to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
