Registered Nurse (RN)
Meadow Lakes is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DNS) to lead our clinical team and oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care within our skilled nursing community.
This leadership role is responsible for directing nursing operations, supporting staff development, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring excellence in clinical outcomes.
The Director of Nursing plays a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and resident-centered environment while partnering with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and oversight of nursing services within the community
* Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff to maintain high standards of care
* Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment
* Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality resident care
* Oversee clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives
* Collaborate with department leaders, physicians, consultants, and regulatory agencies
* Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and customers
* Support the organization’s mission and commitment to senior care excellence
Skills and Qualifications

Requirements
* Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
* Required: Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
* Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care/geriatric care
* Minimum of one year of management or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing environment
* Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
* Ability to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
