Responsibilities


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans


* Help residents regain independence in daily living and self-care activities


* Provide therapeutic exercises, interventions, and adaptive strategies


* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members


* Document resident progress and ensure compliance with facility and state standards


* Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapy techniques and goals

Qualifications


* Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required


* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills


* Team-oriented and compassionate approach to care


* Previous skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads welcome
