Alberici Constructors Ltd.
is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team based out of Burlington, Ontario.
This role is responsible for preparing detailed mechanical estimates for construction projects, including HVAC, piping, and related mechanical systems.
We are looking for someone with experience working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor, who understands how to build mechanical estimates and submit bids to general contractors.
The Mechanical Estimator will complete quantity take-offs, price labour and materials, coordinate supplier and subcontractor quotes, and support competitive bid submissions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mechanical Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for mechanical scopes of work including HVAC systems, piping, mechanical equipment, and related mechanical infrastructure.
This role is focused on mechanical estimating from a subcontractor/self-perform perspective rather than general contractor estimating.
The estimator will review drawings and specifications, perform mechanical take-offs, obtain supplier pricing, and build complete estimates to support project bids.
The Mechanical Estimator will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for HVAC systems, piping, equipment, and associated mechanical scopes.
* Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope requirements.
* Complete accurate quantity take-offs for mechanical systems.
* Price labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
* Solicit and evaluate quotations from mechanical suppliers and subcontractors.
* Identify scope gaps, risks, and potential cost exposures during the estimating process.
